Chicagoans of the Year 2014: Sister Rosemary Connelly

20. nov. 2014

Fr. James Martin, SJ skriver på sin facebook væg:

Archbishop Cupich is not the only Chicago Catholic in the news. Watch this very moving story of Rosemary Connelly, RSM, executive director of Misericordia, a center that cares for 600 developmentally disabled children and adults. When I was studying philosophy at Loyola Chicago, many Jesuit scholastics volunteered at Misericordia. It's an absolutely amazing place.
Sister Rosemary has been named a Chicagoan of the Year, an honor richly deserved. Sisters are my heroes.

The executive director of Misericordia made our annual list of Chicagoans doing extraordinary things this year. See the full list at chicagomag.com/coy
