Jesuit Fathers Matt Malone and Sam Sawyer were discerning the priesthood in 2002 in Boston when the Globe published scathing allegations of sexual abuse and cover up against clerics and church. Many millennials, like Ashley McKinless and Zac Davis, were too young to understand the weight or impact of what happened then, and are grappling with the issues and questions brought by clerical sex abuse for the first time.
